How do I become a member? Membership is free to all Maryland Residents, and available to non-residents for a fee. Apply for membership at the circulation desk in any of our branches by filling out and signing our membership form and showing your driver's license or other form of identification that shows your residence. We will provide you with a library card you can use to borrow materials.

Can I use my laptop's wireless connection at the library? Yes you can. Further details are available on our Services page.

Do you accept donations of __________? We glady accept many types of donations. For further information on donating to the library, see the Support Your Library page.

How much does __________ cost?

Do you have technology classes at the library? Yes, there are several options. For immediate self-directed help, we have an online tutorial. We also offer a series of classes introducing beginners to using a computer and the Internet. Call the library and ask to be added to the waiting list for future sessions. Classes are scheduled as needed and are free of charge.
