Neena Hoppe graduated from Penn State with a Bachelors degree in Landscape Contracting/Design-Build. While in college, she studied in the Landscape Architecture department at the University of Melbourne, Australia. After graduation she returned to work in Australia and also traveled to Italy before beginning work as an assistant landscape designer with McHale Landscape Design in Upper Marlboro, MD. Neena is currently the Master Gardener Coordinator and Horticulture Educator for Queen Anne's County, Maryland. As part of the University of Maryland Cooperative Extension service she provides outreach and unbiased, research based information regarding environmentally sustainable horticulture and natural resources conservation.
