Otto, a remote controlled talking car will share information about the importance of car seats and seat belts, how to cross streets and parking safely with a grown-up and the proper way to wear a bike helmet.

Be Creative @ Your Library-This Month we are making things to celebrate the wacky month of MAY! All ages are welcome at this drop-in craft program. Stop by 9:30- 11am at the Chestertown Branch and stay as long as you'd like. We'll be making things & eating tasty snacks.

Library Closings (5/23-25)

All branches of the Kent County Public Library will be closed Saturday, May 23 and Monday, May 25 for the Chestertown Tea Party and Memorial Day. You can still renew your items online at our catalog page under the "My Account" section or return them in the book drop at any of our branches. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Provides the Citizen's Common Sense Flu Checklist to help you stay healthy. They also provide updates on the swine flu situation locally, and a statewide toll-free line to answer your questions. 1-877-MDFLU4U or 1-877-633-5848.

Provides links to the information you need to get up to speed on the basics of swine flu, as well as gather more in depth information if desired.

Voices of the Bay Presentation (5/13)

Chestertown Branch Closing Thursday and Friday (5/7-8)

Due to our ongoing renovations of the Chestertown Branch, we have no choice but to close this branch to the public on Thursday and Friday, May 7 and 8. We apologize for any inconvenience. Online renewals are, as always an option through the My Account section of our catalog, our bookdrop remains available, and the Rock Hall and North County branches will be open as normal.
