One Maryland One Book, 2009 (10/14, 28, 29)
People across Maryland all discussing one book? Sounds pretty cool, doesn't it?
Kent County Public Library is joining the Maryland Humanities Council and libraries across the state in sponsoring One Maryland One Book 2009.
This year's title is "Song Yet Sung" by James McBride, author of the bestselling "The Color of Water." Set on the lower Eastern Shore in Dorchester County in March 1850, and inspired by the life of Harriet Tubman, "Song Yet Sung" should be of particular interest to Shore readers. Drop by the library to get your free copy. Then join in the conversation at one of our upcoming events, or form your own discussion group.
