There will be no Preschool Storytime in Chestertown or Galena from May 10th to June 14th as we prepare for the summer. However, we will have Baby Storytime in Chestertown on the 2nd and 3rd Tuesdays in May.

"Make a Splash -- Read!" is the theme this summer. Children will explore the world of water, water fun and pirates through stories, songs, games and other activities about oceans, rivers, lakes, and pools and the creatures that live there. The 2010 Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool through young adult, with programs, prize drawings, story hours, a reading club, and more. Families are invited to join the Read-to-Me portion of the program. Registration for the Summer Reading Program begins on June 9th. Use the links provided at www.kentcountylibrary.org to get free access to the consumer information you rely on to make informed purchasing decisions. Categories include new and used cars, appliances, electronics, and more.
Start at www.kentcountylibrary.org, click Search, Articles & Info, Magazines, and finally Consumer Reports. You will be asked to enter your 14 digit library barcode with no spaces or punctuation.
