Summer Reading

Join us this summer for the 2012 Summer Reading Club! We'll be offering many special programs for all ages, including the Critter Caravan, Dream It & Do It, Dinosaur Babies, Stories Under the Night Sky, and many others. Information about the full summer event line up will be available at all branches of KCPL by late May. Details will also be posted on our online calendar.

Starting June 15th, kids can "Dream Big" and teens are invited to "Own the Night" as they read for fun and complete the summer reading board games that have been specially designed for each age group. As they read and complete the game board activities, they'll have chances to win prizes all summer long. Kids who complete the entire game will receive Orioles tickets and be entered for a chance to win the end-of-summer prize drawing!
